SAILING-TRANSAT-JACQUES VABRE
The skippers of the Merena monohull, Alexis Guillaume (L) and Bernard Boon Falleur from Belgium, pose aboard their ship, 02 November 2007 in Le Havre's harbour, on the eve of the start of the monohulls in the "Transat Jacques Vabre", a two-handed transatlantic sailing race between Le Havre and Salvador de Bahia (Brazil). 61 boats are scheduled to participate in the race, including multihulls which will take the start one day later.
