Serb ultra-nationalist leader Vojislav Seselj went on trial 07 November 2007 at the UN war crimes tribunal, labelled by the prosecution as the man "who gave the world the term ethnic cleansing". Seselj, the leader of Serbia's biggest political party, the Serbian Radical Party, faces three charges of crimes against humanity and six counts of war crimes related to the 1990s Balkan wars, including persecution, deportation, murder and torture.
