GERMANY-WEATHER-FLOOD-SURGE

German meteorological service DWD gave warning of thunderstorms for the North Sea coast reagion, whereas hundreds of people were evacuated from their homes on the east coast of England ahead of an expected flood surge also threatening Europe's largest port and oil platforms off the Norwegian coast.
