US-VIETNAM-MEMORIAL
A visitor makes a rubbing of a name at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial on the National Mall in Washington, DC, 12 November 2007. The Memorial, completed in 1982 and designed by Maya Lin, currently has over 58,000 names of those killed or missing in action during the Vietnam War inscribed in the black stone.
