SWITZERLAND-CYPRUS-TALKS-SERDAR DENKTASH
Turkish Cypriot Foreign Minister Serdar Denktash sips some coffee during a press briefing at the media center near the Swiss resort of Burgenstock 25 March 2004. Diplomats reported little tangible progress on the second day of UN-led Cyprus reunification talks as it got off to a rocky start with procedural wrangling about how to negotiate an end to the 30-year-long division of the island. UN Secretary General Kofi Annan has invited the prime ministers of Turkey and Greece to attend the Swiss negotiations Sunday, when he will also be present.
