People sporting 'I want you for Belgium T-shirts' walk during the 'March for Unity' 18 November 2007 in Brussels. Several thousand people demonstrated 18 November in Brussels in favour of Belgian unity as a political crisis threatened to tear the country apart into its Dutch and French-speaking communities. Belgium has been a record five months without a government since elections last June with no prospect of a way out of the impasse as both linguistic communities appear as entrenched as ever in their positions.
