Locals holding banners, flags and portaits of Ivorian President Laurent Gbagbo cheer as Gbagbo and Ivorian Prime Minister Guillaume Soro arrive in Ferkessedougou 28 november 2007, on their first visit to the North of the country since the failed coup set up by New Forces members (FN) in 2002. Gbagbo is on a three-day visit in the north of the country bordering Mali and Burkina Faso, where he will cross the regional areas of Savanas, Korhogo, Ferkessedougou, Boundiali et Tengrela.
