BOSNIA-HEALTH-DISEASE-AIDS
A Bosnian volonteer activist of non-governmental organisation "XY" passes leaflets on promoting HIV awareness to citizens of Sarajevo, on 01 December, 2007. Throughout the world, only in year 2007, 2,5 million people got infected by HIV and 2.1 million people died from deceases caused by the virus, out of wich 330.000 were children. Recorded number of persons infected by HIV in Bosnia is relatively low but iti is suspected that numbers might be higher due to very low level of population's awareness. This year's campaign is mostly dedicated to improving people's willingness towards testing to HIV as well as improving their attitude towards those infected by the virus.
