MIDEAST-ISRAEL-PALESTINIAN-FUNERAL
Wrapped in the Palestinian flag, the body of Mahmud Omar al-Zighari, 20, is carried during his funeral procession in the Daheisheh refugee camp on the edge of the West Bank town of Bethlehem, 27 March 2004. According to Palestinian medical and security forces, the Palestinian stone-thrower was shot in the head by Israeli soldiers guarding Rachel-s Tomb, a site in Bethlehem holy to both Jews and Muslims but to which only Jews have access. His death brought to 3,883 the number of people killed since the start of the Palestinian uprising in late September 2000, including 2,918 Palestinians and 896 Israelis. AFP PHOTO/Musa AL-SHAER
