PIETERBUREN-ZEEHONDEN-HUILERS
A baby seals poses at the Seal Rehabilitation Centre of Pieterburen, 09 December 2007, in Netherlands. Nine seal pups were found this weekend on the Wadden Sea beaches due to the high water level. These young pups were washed away from the sandbanks and lost their mums. In the first three weeks of a seal pup's life they have a thick white babycoat through which they cant swim well, after these 3 weeks they will get their definitive coat and will be released back into the wild.
