BRAZIL-ART-PORTINARI-PICASSO-ROBBERY
Undated reproduction of the painting "The Coffee Worker", by Brazilian artist Candido Portinari. Thieves made off with a Picasso and a highly prized work by Portinari in a daring dawn robbery of the MASP, Latin America's most renowned museum, 20 Ddecember, 2007, the institution said. The three-man gang stole "Portrait of Suzanne Bloch" by Pablo Picasso and "The Coffee Worker" by Portinari in a heist just after 5:00 am (0700 GMT) in the Museum of Art of Sao Paulo, a museum spokesman told AFP.
