Every Sunday on the 11.75-acre lot, where the former Neptune Drive-In theater stood, the "Word" is delivered via radio signal and speaker to people listening in parked cars and trucks. The drive-in church, one of only a few across the nation, opened 51 years ago as a way to draw tourists in for prayer between sunning at the beach or other distractions during a vacation.
