CUBA-VENEZUELA-CHAVEZ
Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez waves upon his arrival to Antonio Maceo international airport, 22 December 2007, in Santiago de Cuba, 900 km east of Havana. Chavez and acting Cuban president Raul Castro are visiting historical places linked with the Cuban revolution, after participating in the summit of Petrocaribe in the southern coastal city of Cienfuegos. Chavez said that he would make preparations in case Colombian rebels release three hostages to his government as they have promised.
