Chinese beginners learn how to ski at a resort in Shenyang, northeast China's Liaoning province 03 January 2008. Skiing is a relatively new pastime in China but the number of skiers are expected to rise by 750,000 each year, and the Chinese government has announced plans to build 300 more new ski-resorts.
