FILES-GULF-US-HORNET-TRUMAN
(FILES) A picture released by the US Navy shows an F/A-18 Hornet attached to the "Bulls" of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 37 as it taxies onto the catapult prior to launch during flight operations aboard the Nimitz-Class nuclear powered aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75) 03 January 2008. Two F-18 fighter jets from the Truman crashed in the Gulf waters 07 January 2008, a Pentagon official announced.
