FRANCE-BULGARIA-DIPLOMACY-SARKOZY
(FILES) - (From L) Palestinian-born doctor Ashraf Ahmad Juma Hajuj, European Union's External Relations Commissioner Benita Ferrero-Waldner, the husband of Bulgarian nurse Kristiana Valcheva - Bulgarian doctor Zdravko Georgiev, French presidential aide Claude Gueant, and Cecilia Sarkozy, then France's first lady, celebrate outside the French presidential plane after their arrival 24 July 2007 at Sofia airport. According to the book "Breakups" (Ruptures) to be released 11 January 2008, written by two French journalists Michael Darmon and Yves Derai, Cecilia led in Lybia a "commando operation" to free the jailed Bulgarian nurses, a version partly denied by one of the nurses.
