VENEZUELA-COLOMBIA-FARC-ROJAS-RELEASE
Clara Rojas (L) reunites with her mother Clara Gonzalez de Rojas, upon arriving at Maiquetia international airport in Caracas on January 10th, 2008, just a few hours after being released by the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC). Rojas and former lawmaker Consuelo Gonzalez de Perdomo, two high-profile women hostages held in the Amazon jungle by the FARC rebels for some six years have been freed in a secret rendezvous point in the Colombian jungle and were immediately flown to Venezuela.
