Indigenous Mapuches organizations hold a protest in downtown Santiago, 16 January, 2008. Hundreds of Mapuches have been rallying for weeks demanding revindication of their lands and because of the death of an activist who died at the hands of police officers and a jailed Mapuche activist who has been on a hunger strike for over 90 dyas.
