FRANCE-SOCIAL-MICHELIN-DEMO
Pneumatic company Kleber's workers demonstrate, 18 January 2008 in Toul, eastern France, to protest against the decision of the mother-company, Michelin, of closing Kleber's factory in 2009. Kleber chief Henri de la Graviere, justified the decision as unavoidable given the production costs were well over Asian competition's prices, despite 45 million euros having been invested in 1999. (Banner reads " Francois Michelin wake up, they became crazy".
