US-ELECTION-CAUCUSES-VEGAS
While various campaign volunteers waive their campaign placards, union members and casino employees line up inside the Bellagio Hotel 19 January 2008 in Las Vegas, Nevada. More than 460 people went to the Bellagio to participate in Nevada's first state caucus. The Democratic Party set up at-large precincts for this weekend's Nevada caucuses in nine casinos on the Las Vegas strip. Th casino-based precincts gave roughly 200,000 workers on the Las Vegas strip the opportunity to participate in this democratic, pre-election experience.
