Police arrest a human rights activist during a demonstration in front of La Moneda presidential palace 22 January 2008 in Santiago. Members of the Mapuche indigenous community have been rallying for weeks demanding the restitution of their lands and protesting for the death of an activist allegedly killed by police officers and the releaseof a jailed Mapuche activist who has been on hunger strike for over 90 days.
