Italian Communists party leader Oliviero Diliberto leaves the Quirinale palace in Rome after meeting Italy's President Giorgio Napolitano, 26 January 2008 in Rome. The President will consult with 24 political leaders or party delegations, to resolve Italy's political crisis following the resignation of prime minister Romano Prodi, after 20 months at the head of a wide-ranging centre-left coalition after losing a vote of confidence in the Senate.
