FILES - Picture taken 25 May 2007 shows chairman of German railways company Deutsche Bahn (DB) Hartmut Mehdorn gesturing during a press-conference in Paris, after he travelled with the German high speed train ICE 3 on the improved route with a reduced time needed for the journey from Stuttgart to Paris to less than 4 hours. The German dailys Stuttgarter Zeitung and the Hannoversche Allgemeine Zeitung reported 04 February 2008 that Deutsche Bahn may be ordering new trains from the French group Alstom, the maker of the TGV trains, instead of from Siemens.
