US-WINTER CARNIVAL

Steamboat's Winter Carnival, hosted by the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club, is an annual winter sports event featuring ski racing, ski jumping, and the famous Street Events. Held for several days in February since 1914 in this small northwest Colorado community, the town is taken over by snow lovers, ranchers, cowboys, the young and old who come together to show visitors how winter is celebrated.
