ROMANIA-FINLAND-NOKIA-FACTORY
An elderly Romanian man maneuvers on February 11, 2008 his horse-drawn cart on a road with a sign pointing toward the Nokia factory in the village of Jucu, 500 kms northwest of Bucharest, where the Finnish cellphone maker opened the first assembly line at its new plant, a facility that will replace a Nokia operation in Germany despite fierce protests there. The assembly line opening precedes the official opening of the plant, which will take place later this year, according to Nokia Romania. AFP PHOTO DANIEL MIHAILESCU
