IRELAND-GIBSON-AWARD
Australian-born US actor Mel Gibson arrives to receive the Outstanding Contribution to World Cinema Award at the fifth annual Irish Film and Television Awards in Dublin, Ireland, on February 17, 2008. The first award of its kind to be presented by the Academy. The actor has starred in over 48 film and television productions in a career that spans over four decades.
