ITALY-MAFIA-ARREST
Italian special force police force inspect the house of Pasquale Condello (not seen) following his arrest late February 18, 2008 in Italy's soutern city of Reggio Calabria. Condello, 57, considered the most important organized crime boss of the southern 'Ndrangheta Mafia, who has been on the run since the 1980s, was sentenced in absentia to life in prison for the 1989 murder of Ludovico Legato, a former head of the national rail company.
