(FILES) A picture taken in Deauville, northwestern France, on October 12, 2007, shows French journalist Christine Ockrent, partner of French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner, attending Women's Forum for the Economy and Society. French president Nicolas Sarkozy has appointed France 24 international news television channel chief executive Alain de Pouzilhac to prepare the creation of "France Monde", a holding company aimed at regrouping the government's stakes in RFI radio station and television channels TV5-Monde and France 24. "Mr Alain de Pouzilhac is expected to chair this new organisation, which will be in charge of modernising and dynamising French and French-speaking international public broadcasting", read a statement from President Sarkozy's office on February 20, 2008. Journalist Christine Ockrent will become chief executive of the new company. AFP PHOTO MYCHELE DANIAU
