BRITAIN-COURT-PROSTITUTION-MURDER
(FILES) Suffolk police officers conduct door to door inquiries in Ipswich in Suffolk, 13 December 2006, after two more bodies were discovered in nearby woodland Tuesday. A man was found guilty Thursday February 21, 2008, of murdering five prostitutes in a killing spree which brought terror to an English market town. Steve Wright, a 49-year-old forklift driver, suffocated or strangled the women, all drug addicts, in or around Ipswich, eastern England, in 2006. He was convicted by a court in the town after a six-week trial and now faces likely life imprisonment when he is sentenced Friday. The five victims were Gemma Adams, 25; Tania Nichol, 19; Anneli Alderton, 24; Paula Clennell, 24; and Annette Nicholls, 29. AFP PHOTO/ADRIAN DENNIS/FILES
