81-year-old Ernst Michaelis holds a document with a picture of his childhood friend Peter Schiff and a dedicace (Top) January 18, 2008 at the Anne Frank House in The Hague. Schiff, known as the Jewish girl Anne Frank's "one true love" during summer 1940, was only known by his description from the author of "The Diary of a Young Girl".
