FBL-FRA-L1-METZ-CAEN
Metz's football players are pictured wearing jerseys reading "No to racism", prior to the start of the French L1 football match Metz vs. Caen, at the Saint-Symphorien Stadium in Longeville-les-Metz, on March 01, 2008. Valenciennes' Moroccan international defender Abdeslam Ouaddou climbed into the stands to confront a racist supporter during a French league game last February 16. The Valenciennes player was so upset at the barrage of abuse he suffered in the game that he marched into the Stade Saint-Symphorien stands at half-time and was booked.
