US soldiers from the 2nd Battallion 12th Field Artillery Regiment, 4-2 SBCT, check the remains of an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) factory destroyed by a 1000kg bomb dropped by a US airforce bomber in the village of Mullah Eid, 8 kms south of Baquba, on February 28, 2008 during operation Fox Hunt. Dogs bark as a column of US soldiers crosses a field in pitch darkness guided by their night-vision goggles in search of Al-Qaeda militants north of the Iraqi capital. Operation "Fox Hunt" is now in full progress as the men led by Captain Kevin James begin to track down Al-Qaeda fighters who might still be hiding in the village. AFP PHOTO/PATRICK BAZ
