US-SPACE-SHUTTLE-ENDEAVOUR-CREW
The crew of the space shuttle Endeavour gives the thumbs-up after walking out of the Operations and Checkout Building on March 10 2008 before boarding the Astrovan for the ride to launch pad 39-A at the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida in advance of the March 11 launch. Endeavour will carry a crew of seven and will install the first section of Kibo, a Japanese-built laboratory and the Canadian-made robotics system known as Dextre to the International Space Station (ISS).
