A combo of pictures picture shows on top US troops having lunch at the Iraqi "Qassem Abu al-Gass" shawarma, or skewered meat, restaurant on June 3, 2003 in Baghdad's Al-Adhamiyah district. Below the same restaurant is pictured on March 11, 2008, five years after the US-led invasion of Iraq and the toppling of the regime of Saddam Hussein in 2003. The owner of the restaurant closed up shop and reportedly fled the country due violence in the post war-torn capital. Area residents say that he opened a new branch of the same restaurant in Syria where he lives at the moment. AFP PHOTO/SABAH ARAR
