AUSTRALIA-CHINA-ART
Erin Reeve of the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) inspects a series of photographs by Chinese artist Liu Wei and titled 'Landscape' as the gallery presents a provocative exhibition of works by seven of China’s most noted photographers, in Melbourne on March 20, 2008. Dr Isobel Crombie, a senior curator of photography at the NGV, said Chinese photography had undergone a remarkable period of transformation and growth over the last decade and this exhibition called 'Body Language' offers a fascinating insight into contemporary life in one of the world’s most dynamic and ancient cultures.
