OLY-2008-TUR-CHN-PROTEST
A banner reading "2008 Beijing Olympics = Uyghurs & Tibet" has been placed by some 150 Uigurs demonstrators (an ethnic minority population mainly living in the Xinjiang region) to protest against the Bejing 2008 Olympic Games in front of the Blue Mosque in Istanbul, as the Olympic Torch Relay starts its Turkish journey on April 3, 2008.
