ZIMBABWE-VOTE-COURT
Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) lawyer George Chikumbirike enters the Zimbabwe High Court in Harare on April 6, 2008. The main opposition Movement for Democtratic Change (MDC) which is lead by Morgan Tsvangirai has taken the ZEC to court for delaying to anounce the presidential results a week after the March 29 general elections. President Robert Mugabe's party refused to release its grip on power on April 6, 2008, demanding a recount in Zimbabwe's presidential election and snubbing an offer to join the opposition in a national unity government.
