JAPAN-IRAQ-KIDNAPPINGS
Shuichi Takato (C), younger brother of Japanese hostage Nahoko Takato, is all smiles with Takashi Imai, (R), father of another hostage Noriaki Imai, and Noriaki-s elder brother, Yosuke (L) in Tokyo, 15 April 2004, after hearing three Japanese civilians taken hostage in Iraq a week ago were freed unharmed in Baghdad. A hostage crisis hanging over Japan for a week ended in relief and tears of joy as the country recieved the news the three had been released unharmed in Baghdad earlier in the day.
