FRANCE-BELGIUM-TRIAL-FOURNIRET
Henri Desramault, 87, father of Jeanne-Marie, victim of self-confessed French serial killer Michel Fourniret, arrives on April 9, 2008 at Charlevilles-Mezieres courthouse in northern France near the Belgian border, for the third week of Fourniret's trial. Fourniret is tried during two months for the murder of seven young women, in France and Belgium between 1987 and 2001, along with his wife and alleged accomplice Monique Olivier. Jeanne-Marie Desramault, a 22-year-old law student, was kidnapped on March 18, 1989 outside the train station in Charleville-Mezieres. In July 2004, Fourniret led investigators to her body, in the grounds of a chateau he once owned in the town of Donchery. Fourniret has confessed to her murder. AFP PHOTO FRANCOIS NASCIMBENI
