Female polar bear Flocke runs in the grass in his enclosure at the zoo in Nuremberg, southern Germany on April 9, 2008 one day after the cub was introduced to the public and the media. Four-month old Flocke -- German for snowflake -- has until now been kept behind closed doors at Nuremberg zoo and has been hand-reared by zookeepers because of fears her mother Vera might harm her.
