EGYPT-ARCHEAOLOGY-SETI
An undated picture shows a quartzite Ushabti figure dating from the time of King Seti I, second king of the 19th Dynasty (1314-1304 BC), found in the Valley of the Kings, on April 10, 2008 in Cairo, announced by the Egyptian Minister Farouk Hosni. According to Dr. Zahi Hawass, Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities (SCA), the discovery was made by the first ever Egyptian mission working in the Valley of the Kings, after being monopolized for the past two centuries by foreigners.
