CLARIFYING CAPTION
An undated picture shows a quartzite Ushabti figure dating from the time of King Seti I, second king of the 19th Dynasty (1314-1304 BC), found in the Valley of the Kings. The archeological find was announced to the press on April 10 2008, by Egyptian Minister of Culture Farouk Hosni. According to Dr. Zahi Hawass, Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities (SCA), the discovery was made by the first ever Egyptian mission working in the Valley of the Kings, after being monopolized for the past two centuries by foreigners.
