US Special Forces flying on a Huges 500 helicopter patrol Baghdad 17 April 2004. Two Japanese held hostages in Iraq were released in Baghdad today. Coalition officials say as many as 40 foreigners from about 12 countries are being held hostage in Iraq by insurgents demanding the withdrawal of international troops or the release of prisoners.
