NEPAL-ELECTION-VOTE-MAOIST
Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) supporters celebrate the victory of unseen party leader Pampha Bhusal who won from one of the constituencies on the outskirts of Kathmandu on April 12, 2008. Nepal's former rebel Maoists are ahead in early results from crucial polls that will decide the country's political future and most likely abolish the monarchy, election officials said."As of Saturday morning the Maoists are leading in 56 of 102 constituencies that are currently being counted," said Laxman Bhattarai, election commission spokesman told AFP.
