URUGUAY-ISRAEL-WILD-HORSE-TAMING
TO GO WITH AFP STORY
Alma Hojman, a 23-year-old Israeli, hugs a two-year filly during a wild horse "rational" taming class at the Agricultural and Livestock Society in Melo, 400 kilometres northeast from Montevideo, on April 8, 2008. Alma hasn't given the filly a name yet, her primary choices being Hebrew names Zehava (Golden) and Yafa (Pretty). Miss.Hojman, daughter of an Uruguayan-born Israeli, decided to take a sabbatical just after finishing her military service. After traveling along South for several months, finally arrived in Uruguay one-and-a half month ago and after meeting Uruguayan instructor Marcelo Gonzalez, applied for his "rational" wild horse taming course, a technique that aims to tame horses without violence.
