Kenyan police arrest suspected outlawed 'Mungiki' sect members April 18, 2008 in Nairobi after they had attempted to gather at the offices of Kenya's Prime Minister, Raila Odinga's party. Odinga, following his swearing in, on April 17, welcomed the sect's members for talks as they battled police and carried out random attacks on citizens, according to eye witnesses,that resulted in atleast 20 people killed and 230 arrested in the skirmishesthat happened mainly in nairobi, Rift Valley and Central provinces.
