French president Nicolas Sarkozy (C) pays homage to French Poet Aime Cesaire during the ceremony of his National Funeral, on April 20, 2008 in Fort-de-France in the French Caribbean island of Martinique. Cesaire died in the hospital where he had been admitted on April 9.
