An Israeli observes two minutes of silence 19 April 2004 on a Tel Aviv beachfront to pay tribute to victims of the Nazi genocide on the annual Holocaust memorial day. Drivers pulled to a stop and got out of their cars as deafening sirens sounded at 10:00 am (07H00 GMT) across the country.
