Maria Macarena Gelman Garcia delivers a speech during a press conference on April 28, 2008 in Paris to speak about her investigation on the disappearance and death of her mother, Maria Claudia Garcia Irureta Goyena de Gelman. Maria Claudia García and her husband Marcelo Gelman were kidnapped in Buenos Aires in 1976 when she was pregnant. Marcelo went missing and his body was recovered in 1989, while Maria Claudia Garcia was brought to Uruguay by Uruguayan militaries and went missing too days after giving birth to Maria Macarena.
