Scandinavian airline group SAS AB on Tuesday posted a first-quarter net loss of 1.13 billion kronor (121.2 million euros, 188 million dollars), up sharply from 47 million kronor a year earlier, citing higher fuel costs and growing competition and said it would slash 1,000 jobs to reduce costs.
